April 2018 Boxycharm Unboxing

I love Boxycharm so much! I am constantly impressed by the items they send out each month. This month's theme of "Eye Candy" is very fitting because Boxy worked with Colourpop to send out a heavy arsenal of different Colourpop eyeshadow palettes to Boxy's subscribers.

The first item in April's box is Tarte's Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter. I love all highlighters, power or liquid. This is a beautiful champagne color which compliments my skin tone well. It blends easily, and doesn't feel greasy/slippery. It does retail for $29 according to Boxycharm's website - but I have seen it priced cheaper elsewhere online. This highlighter is beautiful either way, but I have found other excellent highlighters at a drugstore price. I would recommend if you're willing to spend for your glow, but I won't be repurchasing.

The next item in this month's box is the Semi Precious Eyeshadow Palette by Colourpop for $26. If you have never tried a product from Colourpop, what are you waiting for?? Yes, there is a lot of hype around this brand, and they pump out new products borderline weekly. But the brand is worth the hype as products are high quality for a low cost. And Colourpop eyeshadows are some of the best shadows out there. I love them so much, that I started collecting their palettes, and this one I didn't have! The Semi Precious palette is nothing but shimmer/metallic shadows. They are so pigmented and buttery smooth. Absolutely beautiful on the eyes. I highly recommend.

The next item in April's box is Dr. Brandt's Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner, $47. I've said in other blog posts and I'll say it again. I have waaay too many face masks! Since this one by Dr. Brandt is a pore refining mask, I may use it right away. But otherwise I have tons of other masks to use up before I use this one. Dr. Brandt is a brand I've seen before in Boxycharm, and the last item I received was an exfoliating face wash. I wasn't impressed with that face wash so I have to be honest, I'm not eager to try this mask.

One of my favorite items in the box is The Instatint Eyebrow Gel by The BrowGal, $22. The want is very slim and doesn't pick up too much product. I love that because so many brow gels are goopy and messy. And especially with a tint, color could get everywhere. This gel is a brown tint, so it's helpful if I need to lighten my brows if I drew them in too dark. Simply for the wand, I would highly recommend and am considering repurchasing.

The last item in April's box is Adesse's Hi Definition Liquid Lipstick, $24. This is my favorite formula for "liquid lipsticks". More like a cream/gloss, that doesn't dry down and make your lips feel parched. The color fades nicely, doesn't flake off or anything. And this rose-y shade works with my skintone as an everyday nude. I would recommend if you don't like the dry kind of liquid lipsticks, it's very nice and opaque.
